How much does new siding cost on Cape Cod?

Why white cedar shingles?

What if there is rot under the old siding?
On Cape Cod there often is. We are carpenters first, so we repair it properly as part of the job instead of covering it up. Anything we find gets photographed and priced before we proceed.
